About the Trumbull Rotary Sunset 5k Run & Walk

Twin Brooks Park is the setting, a spot the organizers describe as scenic and tranquil. The course has rolling terrain through the first half, then tips downhill and finishes on a stretch that is completely flat. There is a water stop out on the course. A shorter untimed walk option runs at the same time on an easier loop.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Trumbull Public Library, which most runners find easier than arriving at the park on a busy evening. The race starts at dusk, and pizza, snacks, and fruit are at the finish. A free kids run goes off just before the main start.
