About the Stick Season Trail Run and Series
The course mixes smooth road sections with rugged single-track, and the organizers describe it as a shoe-swap race: runners pass through a central village mid-course and can switch footwear depending on what terrain is coming next. The route runs through Rockwoods Reservation, with enough climbing that "goat-busting" is not an overstatement. Terrain and difficulty shift noticeably depending on which distance you pick.
Packet pickup and on-site registration both happen at Racers Village on race morning, in the hour before the start. The course is tracked live, so people following along at home can watch your dot move in real time, and the same system lets you signal the crew if you need help out on course.
