About the FROZEN STICK 5 Mile and Half Marathon Trail Run

The course runs through Rockwoods Reservation, a proper trail setting with some character to it. The route passes the aid and cheering stations on the way out and again on the way back, so the crowd finds you more than once before you are done. After finishing, runners head inside a school for the post-race gathering, which keeps things warm in deep winter trail season.

Packet pickup happens on site inside the school before the start, and the window closes sharp, so arriving early matters. If you miss it, you can still get started a little late, though you would be outside awards eligibility. Pizza and snacks are waiting at the finish, along with music and the podium ceremony.
