About the River Run

The course runs along smooth roads that border the Farmington River, open farms, and residential neighborhoods. It is genuinely flat throughout, the kind of terrain where your legs feel fresh all the way to the end. Strollers and dogs are welcome, and kids have their own shorter races after the main events wrap up.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Ticket Depot next to Iron Horse Playground. On race morning, commuter lots along Iron Horse Boulevard are the place to park, a short walk from both the start and the finish. There is a post-race party with food and music near the finish area.
