The course rolls through residential neighborhoods around Simsbury Farms Park, starting and finishing in the park's own lot. Traffic is light, roads stay open, and the route is well marked with monitors posted at key turns. The terrain is not flat, but none of the hills are brutal; they come in short, repeated waves rather than one sustained climb.

Simsbury Farms Park sits on the western side of town. The start and finish are both in the parking lot, so there is no hunting for a bag drop or a separate staging area. This is a free, grassroots event, and the organizers ask runners to consider a small donation to help keep it running.
