About the Race To The Courthouse 5K Run/Walk
The course starts and ends at the Martin County Courthouse, winding through downtown Stuart. It is paved and urban, the kind of route where storefronts and street corners mark your progress. The race draws both runners chasing age group prizes and those out for a morning walk, and there is a team competition aimed at law firms, though anyone can enter.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet Stuart, a local running store. Race-morning pickup is available but the organizers ask you to avoid it if you can. The start is prompt, so arriving early matters. Proceeds go to a local legal aid organization and a bar association scholarship fund.

The Race To The Courthouse 5K Run/Walk has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 23, 2026.
