About the Race for a Place 5K & 10K Run/Walk
The course loops around a supportive housing property and a neighboring college campus, so the surroundings are urban and functional rather than scenic. Because the route was still being finalized, expect something close to the grounds rather than a winding tour of the city. The race raises money for supportive housing services, and that mission shapes the atmosphere.
Packet pickup opens on race morning well before the start, so no separate trip the day before is needed. The start is on Cleveland Street, easy to find from most parts of Greenville.
