About the Superhero 5K
The Superhero 5K runs through Greenville as a fundraiser for the Red Shield Youth Center, with costumes encouraged alongside the racing. Prizes go to top finishers and to the best superhero outfits, so plenty of people show up dressed for the occasion. A shorter fun run is open for younger kids, and a Kids' Zone runs through late morning with vendors and activities nearby.
Packet pickup is available at the Kroc Center on the two days before the race, with a morning-of option as a backup. Food vendors are on site, and the festival atmosphere starts well before the first runners cross the finish.
