About the Perogie Dash

The Perogie Dash is put on by Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, and the race starts and finishes on church grounds. The course goes out along Joe's Hill, so there is real climbing involved. The post-race spread is the draw: the church makes homemade perogies fresh, and that alone gives the morning a distinct personality. Age group prizes are hand-painted nesting dolls.

Parking at the church fills up fast, and the organizers are upfront about it: carpool if you can, or plan to park on Wintergreen Street off Joe's Hill and walk in. Check-in opens on the church lawn early, then shifts to the driveway entrance once the kids run gets underway, so you do not have to climb the hill before you race.
