The race benefits Ann's Place, a local cancer support organization, and the course runs through the grounds of the Amber Room venue. After you finish, the party stays outside: there is a barbecue, cold beer, a DJ, and an awards ceremony on the property. Bring a chair or a blanket because people tend to stay a while.
