About the NIGHTCRAWLER 5K
The Nightcrawler is a glow-themed evening race that benefits the Tupelo Leo Misfits Club. It starts and finishes at Ballard Park, so the surroundings are familiar to anyone who has kicked a soccer ball there. Running after dark changes the feel of a route you might otherwise know well.
Packet pickup opens the afternoon before the race at the Park and Rec building inside Ballard Park, near the Oren Dunn Museum. There is also a pickup window at the soccer concession stand on race evening before the start. Having your confirmation email and QR code ready will move the line along.

The NIGHTCRAWLER 5K has been held every year since at least 2020. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
