About the Sip & Run, Walk, or Roll: An All-Abilities 5K and Fun Run
The course runs through the Doran Arboretum, a scenic green space that works well for runners, walkers, and mobility-device users alike. The fall setting gives it some texture and color. Along the way, mocktail samples from a local vendor break up the route, which gives the whole thing a relaxed, social pace rather than a purely competitive one.
The race benefits Generations Adult Day Services, a local nonprofit that serves adults with intellectual, developmental, and aging-related needs and is currently rebuilding after a fire. Check-in opens on race morning ahead of the start, so no prior-day trip is needed.
