About the Lions Club Turkey Trot 5K
This Thanksgiving morning race runs through Murray Calloway County Central Park. It draws a costumed crowd, with people showing up as pilgrims, turkeys, and whatever else fits the holiday. The awards go deep, covering age divisions, team categories, and trophies for things like best costume, the oldest runner, and whoever traveled the farthest to get there.
Packet pickup runs several evenings during the week before the race at the rear entrance of the Murray-Calloway County Library. Morning-of registration is also available if you miss the early window. There are pies at the finish.

The Lions Club Turkey Trot 5K has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
