About the Master's University Winter 5K

The course runs out from the university's north campus into Quigley Canyon and Placerita Canyon Open Space, then loops back to where it started. The terrain is mixed underfoot but the route stays flat throughout. The surrounding open space gives it a quiet, outdoor feel that is a bit removed from the usual road-race setting.

Packet pickup opens early on race morning at the north campus start area. Parking is not available in the lot closest to the start, but several other campus lots are open and free. Carpooling is worth considering, and arriving with a little extra time makes the morning easier.
