About the Main Street Mile
The course runs straight down Main Street, a classic point-to-point mile on flat pavement through what feels like the center of town. Groups go off based on expected pace, so faster runners are not weaving around slower ones from the start. It is a short, focused effort with no turns to navigate.
Bib pickup happens race morning at a comic book shop on East Main Street, and the start is a short walk from there toward a nearby intersection. After the race, the party moves to the Deer Park Tavern, a local bar within easy walking distance, where there are snacks, drinks, and live music.
