About the Lucky Run

The Lucky Run winds through the streets of downtown Pitman on a paved neighborhood course. The route is relatively flat and passes through the historic town center. A kids' mile runs first, followed by the main race, so the morning has a longer arc than a single-distance event. A live Irish band plays in Ballard Park before the gun goes off.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at a running store in Mullica Hill, with race-morning pickup at Ballard Park, next to the Pitman Library. After the race, the party splits between two spots: Merryman's Pub has a pub menu, Irish music, and awards; Bonesaw Brewery has a food truck and the live band. Street parking and municipal lots are within walking distance of the start.
