About the Longest Night (50mi - 50k - 26.2 - 13.1 - 10k)
The course is a short loop through Lakewood Nature Preserve, run repeatedly through the night from sunset until dawn. The trails are wide and grassy, and the barn at the center serves as the start, finish, and aid station all in one. Runners pass it after every loop, so you can drop gear, grab soup or snacks, and get back out quickly.
Packet pickup opens inside the barn before the start. There is parking in the barn lot, with overflow into an adjacent field and along the road if needed. The barn area has room for tents and personal base camp setups, and fires are welcome if kept off the ground. The preserve has no power or water, so plan accordingly.
