About the Legacy Run A 5K For Peace & Prevention
The Legacy Run is organized by the Jarrod Michael Lockett Foundation, with proceeds going toward violence prevention and youth mentorship work. Runners can honor someone lost to violent crime during registration, and those names and photos appear at both ends of the course, so the memorial is woven into the race itself. Awards go to overall and age-group finishers.
Nature's Fountain sets up at the finish with cold pressed juices and smoothies. The tribute display gives the post-race area a quieter, more reflective feel than most road races.
