About the Krampus Cross Country 5K, 10K, or Naughty Nine Miler
The Krampus race runs out of Ecology Trail Head at the end of Barnard Avenue, threading through the trails in that corner of San Francisco. Several distance options cover the same general terrain, so the morning has a loose, all-distances-at-once energy. The trails are rooty and uneven in places, with enough roll to make the longer options genuinely work.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at a local running store on Sacramento Street, where Standard Deviant Brewing pours for early arrivals. Race-morning pickup is available as a backup for those who can't make it. Post-run, there are soft drinks, sparkling water, and pre-packaged snacks at the finish.
