About the James Anderson Built on Belief 7k and 1 Mile Walk

This race runs through Akron in honor of a man whose recovery journey led him to run a grueling ultra-distance event to raise money for his organization. The course starts and finishes on a newly paved driveway, which smooths out the transition. A shorter untimed walk runs alongside the main event, drawing people who want to be present without racing.

Packet pickup is available the afternoon before the race at the start location, with morning pickup also offered on race day. Awards go out to top finishers overall and across age groups after the run wraps up.
