About the Greg Adams eRace Stigma 5K

The course starts at the downtown farmers market and winds through Oakwood Cemetery before returning. It is an unusual setting, quiet and shaded, and the organizers ask runners to stay on the main path out of respect for the grounds. Age group awards go deep, so there is real competition if you are chasing a podium.

Packet pickup is available the morning of the race, with an early option beforehand. The race benefits mental health and substance use education programs in the county, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the clock.

Common Questions About the The Greg Adams eRace Stigma 5K

Will I finish last at the Greg Adams eRace Stigma 5K?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 41:41, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:10:36, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Greg Adams eRace Stigma 5K a good first 3.1 Miles?

A field of 390 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Greg Adams eRace Stigma 5K?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 16:43 while the median finisher took 41:41. That spread points to a broad, mostly recreational field rather than a race dominated by club runners.
