About the Great Twilight Deadman's Hill 2 Mile Run

The course starts at a middle school parking lot and drops down through the neighborhood, including the steep pitch locals call Deadman's Hill, before flattening out along East Potomac Street into downtown Brunswick. Almost the entire route runs downhill or flat, so times here tend to run fast. It finishes at a small park in the center of town.

This is a point-to-point course, so the organizers run a shuttle van from the finish area up to the start before the race. Parking near the finish at the train lot and riding up is the practical move. At the finish there are ice cream sundaes, lemonade, and snacks from a local ice cream shop.
