The race is held at Halcyon, an outdoor mixed-use development in Alpharetta, which gives the course a lively backdrop of shops and open space. There is a shorter option for younger kids alongside the main 5K, so families with small children can all race the same morning. Chick-fil-A and Big Peach Running Co. are both behind the event, and the Chick-fil-A mascot cows are reportedly on hand.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Big Peach Running Co. in Cumming, and advance pickup is the only option, so plan around that. Registration also closes before race morning, meaning there is no same-day sign-up. Halcyon has parking on site. A coupon for a Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit comes in every race packet, which is a reasonable post-run incentive.
