About the Food and Shelter Power of Yes 5K/Family Fun Run
This is a 5K and family fun run put on by Food and Shelter, a local nonprofit focused on hunger relief and emergency housing in Norman. The race is tied directly to that mission, and runners are encouraged to drop off a canned or boxed pantry donation at the starting line for the organization's food share program.
There are giveaways at the finish line. If you have something shelf-stable sitting at home, toss it in your bag before you head over.
