About the Fantastic FAIR-field Turkey Trot
The course runs along Main Street and Soldier Road through the Camas Prairie, so you get a real sense of the town. It is flat open road with wide skies around you. Costumes are part of the culture here, and plenty of people show up dressed for it, which sets the tone for the whole morning.
The race is put on by the Camas County Fair Board, so there is a genuine local connection behind it. Expect a small-town start with a mix of people who are there to race hard and people who are just happy to be out on a fall morning.
