About the Elkmont Holiday Hustle
The course runs on the Rails-to-Trails path through Elkmont, heading out along one trail before connecting to the Richard Martin Trail for the return. It is paved rail trail, which means flat and straight with minimal technical challenge. The route finishes at the stairs leading up to a pizza place downtown, which makes the endpoint easy to find.
Parking is free, spread around downtown and at the high school. The race supports the local cross-country and track program and benefits Make-A-Wish, with a toy drive running alongside it. Costumes and festive gear are encouraged. Age group awards start shortly after the field finishes.

The Elkmont Holiday Hustle has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
