About the Downville Mile
The Downville Mile runs point-to-point through Greenville streets, starting uphill from the finish and dropping steadily the whole way down. It is a pure downhill mile, so nearly everyone runs fast, and the finish line sits at a brewery where cold beer is waiting after your race.
Parking is at the finish line, which means your walk to the start doubles as your warmup. Packet pickup is at that same finish-line venue earlier in the evening. After your wave goes, stick around for awards and the post-race crowd.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
