About the Cheyenne Mountain Run
The course runs through Cheyenne Mountain State Park on named trails that wind upward through the park, gaining serious elevation before coming back down. The shortest option stays lower and finishes relatively quickly; the longest climbs high enough that weather can shift on you, and runners are expected to carry their own water and be ready for it. All distances start from the Limekiln Trailhead.
Packet pickup is offered the afternoon before at the park's Visitor Center, with race-morning pickup available for those who cannot make it. Entry fees support a nonprofit dedicated to the park, so the money goes back into the trails you just ran.
