About the Popsicle 5K/10K/Half - Colorado Springs
The course runs out and back along the Cottonwood Creek Trail, starting and finishing at Cottonwood Creek Park. It follows a trail corridor, so expect a natural surface rather than open road. The pace requirement is relaxed enough for walkers, and self-serve water stations are spaced along the route, though runners moving fast may want to carry their own hydration.
Packet pickup is offered the evening before at Fleet Feet on Austin Bluffs Pkwy, or you can pick up on race morning starting an hour before your wave goes off. The staggered start sends the longer distances out first, with the shortest distance going last.
