About the Big Run 5k
This is a Global Running Day 5k based out of a Fleet Feet store, with several local run clubs showing up together. The course itself isn't mapped out in detail, but the event is built around people running side by side, trying on Brooks demo shoes during the run if they want to, and keeping the whole thing casual.
Afterward, the group moves to SingleSpeed Brewing Co. for a post-run hangout with live music, food, and drinks. Each run club has a table there if you want to learn more about them. There is also a shoe drive; drop off a worn pair and it goes to local shelters and track programs.
