About the Born to Run 5k
The course runs a looped trail at Confluence Brewing Company, a spot that sits along the Des Moines riverfront. The terrain is natural surface, and the loop format means you finish where you started, with the brewery right there. Dogs on leash are welcome, and strollers fit the course fine. Proceeds go to a local organization that supports new parents with basic needs for young children.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Pulse Life Advocates, with a brief race-morning window at the brewery before the start. Day-of registration is available during that same window.
