About the Big Kahuna 5K, 10K - Little Rock
The race runs out of Cook's Landing Park, and the organizer leans into a tropical theme throughout. Expect music at the start and finish, leis for participants, and a post-race treat. The course serves several distance options, from a short kids dash up through a longer run, so groups with mixed abilities tend to show up together.
Packet pickup wraps up shortly before the first wave goes off, so arriving early is worth it. The kids dash kicks things off, followed quickly by the main race start with a national anthem. Awards and finish-line festivities follow, and there is a tropical-themed photo backdrop set up near the finish area.
