About the University of Arkansas at Little Rock 5K
This is a campus 5K open only to people affiliated with UA Little Rock, staged as a pep rally warmup for a pair of home basketball games. The route runs through campus, with the Trojan Pep Band playing along the way and the Trojan Dance Team adding to the atmosphere. Runners are encouraged to wear camo and maroon.
The event doubles as a food drive for the on-campus food pantry, so bringing shelf-stable donations is part of the tradition. After the run, there are snacks at the finish. Packet pickup and start details are tied to the campus setting, so arriving with a little extra time is smart.
