The course runs the full length of the B&O Trail, a paved path connecting Speedway to rural Hendricks County. From the start outside a brewery in Speedway, you head east toward downtown before turning back and pushing out through the countryside, then returning the way you came. The trail is flat throughout, which makes it a realistic option for anyone chasing a fast effort on a long day.
