About the Amazing Spooktacular 5K & Monster 1-Mile

This Halloween race runs through the Town East Mall area in Mesquite, timed but with plenty of people who skip the clock and walk with their kids in costume. Runners are encouraged to dress up, and the course feeds into a broader fall festival with food trucks and vendor booths right at the finish.

The race is held alongside a school district festival, so the post-race scene is lively rather than just a parking lot. Kids who run get access to a trick-or-treating area and an activity zone at the festival.
