About the Thanksgiving Day 5K, Kids' Fun Runs & Tot Trot

The course at Sherando Park moves through a mix of surfaces, from a track to paved paths to woodland trails, so the footing changes as you go. Fall color in the trees makes the trail stretch the most memorable stretch. The awards ceremony follows the 5K, and there is live music at the finish.

Packet pickup runs on the two evenings before Thanksgiving at Sherando High School, with a race-morning window as a backup. The school is close to the park, so neither option adds much to your morning.
