About the Teton Valley Pig Trot
The course runs through the neighborhood surrounding the farm that hosts the event, so you are never far from the animals. It is a Thanksgiving morning run with a genuine reason to exist: the entry fees go directly to a local animal rescue. The atmosphere tilts toward the farm rather than the finish line, and the pigs are very much part of the morning.
Once the run is done, finishers can fold right into the Pigsgiving festivities already underway, which include feeding the pigs their Thanksgiving breakfast and coffee and snacks for the humans. The event wraps up well before the afternoon, leaving your holiday plans intact. Dogs are not allowed, and the farm will be cold, so dress accordingly.
