About the Tenino Turkey Day 5k 2026
The Tenino Turkey Day 5K runs on Thanksgiving morning out of Tenino City Park. The format is open to runners, walkers, and anyone moving at their own pace, so the field tends to be a mix of serious runners and people who just want to get outside before the meal. Proceeds go to a local nonprofit that supports families who have lost a child.
The race starts and finishes at Tenino City Park, which makes logistics simple. There is no complex parking situation to navigate, and the timing means most people are done and back home well before dinner is on the table.
