About the Ten Trails Active Club Trot n' Treat Relay Scramble
This is a Halloween relay scramble, not a standard running race. Teams spread out across a neighborhood park hunting down ghost props hidden at marked spots, then carry them back one at a time to a central finish area. There is no set course; each team plots its own route, which means route planning is part of the competition. It runs after dark, so bring a headlamp.
The event is free and put on by a local active club. Costume and team name awards are part of the night alongside the main race. Registration closes earlier than most events, so the organizers have time to place all the props before teams arrive.
