About the Ten Trails Active Club 5k Turkey Trot

This Turkey Trot runs on an open course through Black Diamond, hand-timed by a small volunteer crew that funds the whole event out of pocket. The course stays consistent year to year, so returning runners know what to expect. Separate prize categories exist for walkers and runners, and Thanksgiving desserts get raffled off after the finish.

There is coffee and snacks at the finish, along with a food drive for a local food bank. The organizers ask everyone to arrive well before the start to allow time for check-in. Registration closes before race day, so showing up without signing up ahead of time is not an option.
