About the 13th Annual Tapping of the Great Pumpkin 5k, 10k, 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk & Lil' Pumpkin Kids Run

The course runs along the Treweryn Trail system in Lower Gwynedd Township, a road course rather than a dirt trail. Nearly all of it is flat and smooth, with just a short stretch or two where the surface gets a little uneven. Running it in peak fall means crunching through fallen leaves with the full canopy around you.

Registration and bib pickup happen on race morning, closing before the first wave goes off. The after-party has food from Penna's Italian Market and beer from a local craft brewery, served out of the main venue area. There is also a costume contest, so many runners show up dressed for Halloween.
