About the FC Europa Ugly Sweater 5K
The race runs through Wilson Farm Park in Tredyffrin Township, a park setting that gives the course a natural feel away from road traffic. It is a soccer club's holiday event, so the crowd skews toward families with kids. Runners bring donations for a local food bank and the SPCA, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the finish line.
Food and beverage vendors are on site after the race. The event is professionally timed, with awards going to the top overall finishers in both the men's and women's fields.
