About the Tallahassee Beer Mile

The Tallahassee Beer Mile is tied to Beer Fest weekend, so the crowd arriving to watch is already in a party mood. The course is a short loop run several times around the festival venue, with a beer chugged at the start of each lap. Costumes are a real part of the event, and prizes go to top finishers as well as the best-dressed individuals and teams.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet on Thomasville Road. On race day, pickup and registration open at the venue before the start. Finishing the race also gets you a discount on festival admission the following day, and top finishers earn entry to a post-race party with the brewers, food, and unlimited tasting.
