About the Breakfast on the Track Mile
This one is a track mile, held under the banner of a local running club's grand prix series. Runners are grouped into heats by projected time, so you are racing people near your speed the whole way. That format makes the mile feel more like a real race than an open road event would. Pancakes are served at the finish.

The Breakfast on the Track Mile has been held every year since at least 2019. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
