The race runs on a paved trail at Etowah River Park, so the surface is smooth underfoot the whole way. Several distance options are available, and the chip-timed course has water stations spaced out regularly along the route. The park setting keeps things pleasant, and the trail is the same underfoot regardless of which distance you choose.
