About the TALI Sadlers Creek 6k Trail Run
The course runs through Sadlers Creek State Park on natural trails. It is a trail run, so expect rooted, uneven ground and a wooded feel rather than a road-race surface. The race benefits Gateway House, a rehabilitation program for adults living with serious mental illness, and a portion of the net proceeds goes directly to that organization.
The race organizers cover the park entry fee, so there is no separate gate charge on the way in. Coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate are at the finish area. First-timers to this race series should expect something extra when they pick up their packet.
