About the Takedown Trot 5k
The course runs along the Randy Morrow Trail through San Gabriel Park, so expect a natural setting with park surroundings rather than streets. The event is untimed, which shapes the feel of the morning: people move at their own pace, and the atmosphere follows from that.
Everything starts and gathers at the Legacy Pavilion inside the park. The race goes on regardless of weather, so dress for whatever the morning brings. Proceeds support the Georgetown High School wrestling program.
