About the Chase the Chief
The race starts at a high school and is organized by the local police department, with proceeds going toward physical education programs in Georgetown schools. The course is a standard road distance, and the event draws families alongside more serious runners, with a shorter fun run option on the same day and a vendor fair running alongside everything.
Packet pickup is held at the police department on D.B. Wood Road in the days before the event. If you register late enough, you can skip the pickup entirely and handle things race morning instead.
