The course starts outside a minor league baseball stadium and heads out along a paved trail before crossing a pedestrian bridge over a highway, winding through a residential neighborhood, and reaching the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. The return trip mirrors the route, and both legs finish inside the stadium, where runners come around the warning track as the scoreboard shows the feed.
