The course runs around Green Lake Park, which means you get water on one side and trees on the other for most of the route. The road surface is smooth and the terrain is flat throughout. The draw here is the costumes: people show up in genuinely absurd turkey and holiday sweaters, and the park crowd tends to stop and stare. Prizes go to the tackiest outfits.
